Oregon's Top O Lineman for 2022 (Ranked #1-10) + Analysis - Prep Redzone (2024)

All of the positional rankings will be based on collegiate projection much like the overall list. Have a look at how I would have Oregon’s O Lineman ranked for the class of 2022 right now.

1. Jacob Strand Jacob Strand 6'5" | 270 lbs | OL Canby | 2022 State OR 6-5 270 T Canby (COMMITTED: Oregon St) I think the Beavers scored big here. Strand made the early commitment, and could end up being one of the best in the PAC 12 in my opinion. His versatility and play on the defensive side of the ball, help highlight his overall athleticism, with 36 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 6 sacks in 6 games so far this year.
2. Kage Casey Kage Casey 6'6" | 265 lbs | OL Clackamas | 2022 State OR 6-6 280 T Clackamas (COMMITTED: Boise St) Casey is another individual who made an early commitment, deciding on the Broncos over Oregon St. His size and ability on D were additional reasons he blew up quickly over the off season.
3. Braylon Cornell Braylon Cornell 6'6" | 290 lbs | OL West Linn | 2022 State OR 6-6 285 T West Linn- This kids stock continues to rise after earning honorable mention all conference honors as a Junior. He has been consistent and impressive all year and could do very well playing a high level of collegiate ball if given the opportunity.
4. Justin Parnell Justin Parnell 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Dallas | 2022 State OR 6-4 285 T Dallas- One of the best and most athletic lineman in Oregon. Parnell had a monster Junior campaign, not giving up a sack in 6 games. He is also one of the top throwers in the state in track. Thus far as a senior he has done well on D, accounting for 16 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and a sack in 4 games.
5. Tilman Ritchie-Tuisue Tilman Ritchie-Tuisue 6'3" | 285 lbs | OL Sheldon | 2022 State OR 6-3 285 C Sheldon- Expect Ritchie-Tiusue to be a first team all conference kid on both sides of the football and the top center in the state. He has been all over the place defensively making 38 total tackles, 7 tackles for loss and 1 sack during the regular season.
6. Bryce Cordell Bryce Cordell 6'3" | 305 lbs | OL Westview | 2022 State OR 6-3 305 Westview- Cordell has improved as much as anyone and has been dominant up front for the Cats, who have all the talent in the world on the perimeter. His play, along with a few of the younger lineman, give Westview a shot during the playoffs.
7. Lucas Edwards Lucas Edwards 6'5" | 275 lbs | OL Tualatin | 2022 State OR 6-5 275 T Tualatin- Great size and a lot of potential. Earned honorable mention all conference honors as a Junior. Still a lot yet to be determined.
8. Austin Leykam Austin Leykam 6'2" | 265 lbs | OL Lake Oswego | 2022 State OR 6-2 265 C Lake Oswego- One of the most talented lineman in the entire region. Fundamentally he is as good as anyone. From a projection standpoint it’s a size thing. Regardless look for him to be a key piece if the Lakers make a title run.
9. Myale Jones Myale Jones 6'5" | 320 lbs | OL Central Catholic | 2022 State OR 6-5 330 T Central Catholic- Jones moves incrdeibly well for a big man. He has overachieved and been a necessary presence for the Rams on both sides of the football.
10. Hayden Harlan Hayden Harlan 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Clackamas | 2022 State OR 6-3 270 G Clackamas- If the Cavs end up making a title run it will be because of guys like Harlan winning in the trenches. He will be a multi year all conference kid and someone who could play and do welll collegiately.
