I'm starting to collect the parts for this intake upgrade and i'm searching for info about the customizing of the portmatching and mounting the fuel injectors. Is there an adapter flange needed between the head and manifold or it fits bolt on?(this week manifold will be in our shop) You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Original N54 manifold runners are too short for M52TU/M54. The peak of torque occurs outside the engine RPM range, something around 8k rpm. I heard that the short length of the N54 intake manifold runners is due to the greater length of the channels in the N54B30 engine head, this is not confirmed information, if someone has knowledge about it - a request to share it
