As a rule I type in Singapore and Brunei at the same time as Malaysia so I don't forget them (I do the same with Italy and Monaco, San Marino, the Vatican and Malta)

Good night, good morning, good evening to everybody in the comments seeing the drama of continental borders. This quiz follows what JetPunk says about the continental borders. Meaning that countries like Egypt, Greece and Russia are not considered transcontinental, as well as Turkey, Indonesia and Yemen, that's why all of the country pops up in green. Countries that have territories aren't included in this quiz, being the UK and Australia. Hong Kong and Macau are part of China unlike Taiwan. And, lastly, Palestine, Artsakh, South Ossetia and Abkhazia aren't in the quiz.

Cyprus is split in half. The South region of Cyprus is part of the Greek Colony while the North region or as the Turks refer to it, The Turks Republic of Cyprus, is, as made obvious by it's name, a Turkish colony.

Palestine should be added. It has almost 10 times the recognition of Taiwan in the UN so by logic I think Palestine should be in the quiz.

except palestine has no working government and their territory is mostly controlled by Israel. they don't function like a country and most services are payed by Israelites. however taiwan is completely independent of china and has its own government and china would have to invase taiwan in order to control it

cant we just base ourselves where the capital city is and done. Moscow is in Europe so russia is europe. Nicosia is in asia (All of cyprus is anyway) so its Asian, same goes for Ankara, Baku, Nur sultan, yerevan and tbilisi. all asian

Culturally it's european (mainly greek). Geographically however it's much closer from Asia (Anatolia), and I guess it would match if looking at underwater geography

not counting Russia... count it. It's just one answer more. I can type it easily. When we were kids and someone showed us a globe, the first thing we see on the Asian continent is the biggest country in the world. (of course it was USSR when I was a kid). So it overlaps two continents. Big deal.

This map quiz is controversial. Firstly, caucasus (including turkey) is a part of europe, Second, russia is an asian country, and also, cyprus is 100% an european country. Please fix this, it will prevent many arguments.
