Business and Technology Relocation Planning and Project Management
PBX & Voice Mail
Your communications network is your organization's lifeline. Do you need to increase your backbone speeds? Implement Quality of Service (QOS) to support voice over IP (VoIP)? If it's time to upgrade or replace your existing network, we can help guide you through the maze of technologies, products, and vendors.
Data, voice, and video networks
Whatever the type of network you need, we'll help you determine your requirements, evaluate available technologies, plan and design the network infrastructure, select appropriate vendors to perform the installation and maintenance, and ensure the work is done to your specifications. Whether you're networking a single building or connecting multiple sites, looking at Voice over IP (VOIP), upgrading a simple data network or designing a complex video conferencing network, or if you're seeking convergence of your voice and data networks, we can help you create a network that meets your current needs with room to grow in the future.
At Paradise Communications, we're dedicated to helping your business or institution get the most out of your communications network. If your needs include voice, data, or video, we can help you design and implement a network that's right for you. Or, maybe you need some help keeping up to date with how the latest technology can benefit your organization. We can serve as your technology counsel, providing advice, overseeing projects, and representing your interests to technology vendors and resellers.
Based in Northern California, founder by Jim Holmes who has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and network design and communications services, providing consulting services across the United States. Whether you're a business, educational institution, or non-profit organization, we can assist with your particular communications needs. If you need help with your technology situation, or you just have a question, please contact us and we'll be happy to speak with you.
Keeping up to date with current technology trends and new products that can help your business is a full-time job. You need to focus your energies on running your business, not on becoming a technologist or searching for IT talent in a tight job market. You have legal counsel -- maybe it's time for technology counsel.
Representing your interests
Maybe you don't have your own IT staff, or if you do, they're overworked. Sometimes you just need some advice, help with evaluating a new technology, or a second opinion.
As your technology counsel, we represent you, providing advice on new directions in technology, helping you evaluate products and services, and representing your interests to vendors and resellers. If you're thinking of purchasing a new computer system or having a network installed, we can help you choose a vendor and make sure you're getting everything you paid for. If you're not sure how a new technology might help your business, we can provide you with the answers you need to make an informed decision. Whether you need a quick piece of advice, or management and oversight of a whole technology project, we can help.
What makes a building "smart"? It's the communications infrastructure, designed from the ground up to allow full voice, data, and Internet access to all tenants of the building from the moment they move in. Now that's smart.
Make your next building a smart building
The network infrastructure of most office buildings is a patchwork of wiring and electronic components that are installed, upgraded, abandoned, and reinstalled as tenants move in and out. This results in a disorganized, undocumented network that provides little or no value to the building's owner or the next incoming tenant.
To solve this problem, you as the building owner should consider offering a comprehensive network infrastructure. Just as you provide reliable heating and electrical systems, you should provide a reliable network. Not only is the network becoming as important to prospective tenants as heat and lighting, it's a valuable resource that can generate additional income. There are a number of ways you can provide the network that will make your building a smart building. You can have another company own the network and pay you a portion of the revenues, or you can own the network and pay for installation and maintenance from the revenue you generate. We're not suggesting that you manage the network, any more than we'd suggest that you do your own electrical work. The key is that providing a comprehensive network infrastructure will help you attract and retain tenants, generate revenue, and increase the resale value of the building.
High-speed Internet access for multi-dwelling units (MDUs)
Maybe you don't own a building, but you are responsible for a hotel, residence hall, apartment building, office park, or other MDU. Providing network access to a transient population brings special requirements and additional challenges. Ease of use for the tenants and ease of support for the building owner are critical. We can use our experience to design a network for your MDU, analyzing the available technologies that can meet your specific needs. If you're planning to charge your tenants directly for network access, we can also develop a financial model that will show you how much you need to charge and what kind of revenue you can expect.. Please contact us for more information about how we can help you develop a plan for high-speed Internet access in your MDU.
